Biography

After a breast cancer diagnosis in 2020, and subsequent secondary diagnosis in 2024, BBC Writers Room shortlisted writer, Kerry McIntosh is determined to give back with gratitude and focus on a message of positivity through adversity and advocate for change.

During chemotherapy, she wrote her debut children's book 'Rory Green, Secret Agent to the Queen', a fast paced and immersive adventure for 7-9 year olds to see her young readers gripped to the end and inspired beyond.
